EBP (External Battery Packs)

External battery packs (abbreviated to EBP) also known as a form of auxiliary energy storage can be added to certain UPS models to greatly extend the battery backup time. They are connected to the controlling UPS and other daisy chained external battery packs with an easy click connect port/cable.

Standard external battery packs do not include a charger and rely on the controlling UPS to recharge the batteries. Up to 2 standard EBPs can be added to a controlling UPS.  

External battery packs with built in chargers recharge their own batteries. Up to 5 EBPs with built in chargers can be added to a controlling UPS.
