Thermo Fisher Scientific Applied Biosystems 3730/3730xl DNA Analyzer On Battery Backup UPS

Battery Backup Power, Inc. delivered a Plug And Play 6 kVA / 6,000 Watt Pure Sinewave Double Conversion (Online) Digital Tower Battery Backup UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to the United States Geological Survey in Michigan in early 2020 to protect a Thermo Fisher Scientific Applied Biosystems 3730/3730xl DNA Analyzer from voltage fluctuations, frequency fluctuations, and power outages. 

Below is feedback from the USGS lab staff in regards to their satisfaction of the UPS system since it was placed into operation. 

“The UPS arrived, we got it hooked up, and its been tested a few times. We are really happy to have that particular instrument on backup. We will be ordering more units as soon as our funding is secured.”
