40kVA/40kW 120/208Y 3 Phase Paralleled Battery Backup UPS System Expandable To 160kVA/160kW

The Battery Backup Power, Inc. 40kVA/40kW 120/208Y 3 phase system can be paralleled to create up to a 160kVA/160kW 120/208Y 3 phase battery backup UPS system. The photo below shows (2) 40kVA/40kW 120/208Y 3 phase systems operating in parallel to provide 80kVA/80kW to a critical facility. 

This system consists of (2) 40kVA/40kW inverters, (2) external battery cabinets (1 per inverter) and a BBP parallel unit external wrap around bypass switch (BPS255i3P-N1-11 for 2 units in parallel or BPS400-N1-11 for 3 units in parallel, call for 4 units in parallel). 

The paralleled inverters can share (1) external battery cabinet in some cases, but for full redundancy and operating functionality, (1) external battery cabinet minimum is recommended per inverter.
