It automatically corrects voltage problems that may damage or degrade the performance of your 3D printer and provides surge protection with temporary backup power for when power outages occur. This UPS is sized specifically for the MakerBot Replicator Z18 and if fully charged at the time of an outage, it will run the Z18 for 11 minutes and 31 seconds on battery power. This gives the user time to start up a generator or safely power down the 3D printer.
